The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows Frank Thompson as the owner of the land where this house was built. The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows the heirs of F.V. Thompson as the owners of the empty lot this house was built on. In 1930 this house was owned by Robert Baird, a 40-year old from Ireland who worked as a conductor for an electric railway. Robert lived with his 40-year old wife Euphemia (born in Northern Ireland). Part of this house was rented for $60 a month by Alice Gill, a 65-year old widow from Canada. Alice lived with two boarders: 32-year old Arthur Sullivan, a grocery company manager from Canada; and 24-year old Homer Richee, a mechanic for Western Union. The building was valued at $12,000. |
