The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows Walter Kavanaugh as the owner of this house.

The 1925 City Directory lists Walter Kavanagh, a watchman, as a resident of 120 Brooks; and Patrick Pendergast, a roofer, as a resident of 122 Brooks.

In 1930 this house was owned by Walter Kavanaugh, a 52-year old from Ireland who worked as a watchman for a rubber company. Walter lived with his 38-year old wife Theresa and their two sons: 11-year old Walter and 8-year old John. Part of this house was rented for $40 a month by Patrick Pendergast, a 55-year old metal worker from Ireland. Patrick lived with his 52-year old wife Agnes and their three daughters: 17-year old Mary, 15-year old Dorothy, and 13-year old Agnes. The building was valued at $8,000.
