This brick multi-family house was built in 1904 and rises three stories to a slate roof.

The 1916 Bromley Atlas shows H.C. Shedd as the owner of this house.

The 1925 City Directory lists John Darling, a traffic manager; Allen Peterson, a clerk; and Axel Peterson, a painter, as residents of 112 Brooks.

In 1930 this house was owned by Joseph Harrell, a 35-year old shoe salesman. Joseph lived with his 38-year old Irish wife Catherine; 6-year old daughter Catherine; 40-year old sister-in-law Mary Fallon, a maid from Ireland; and 36-year old sister-in-law Anna Fallon, a waitress from Ireland. Part of this house was rented for $50 a month by Axel Peterson, a 73-year old from Sweden. Axel lived with his 70-year old Swedish wife Anna and their 44-year old daughter Ebba, a dressmaker in a dress shop. The building was valued at $9,000.
