The 1916 Bromley Atlas and 1925 Bromley Atlas show the heirs of Henry Goodenough as the owners of the empty lot where this house was built. In 1930 this house was owned by Andrew Kaufmann, a 50-year old automotive electrician from Switzerland. Andrew lived in 105 Brooks with his 43-year old Czech wife Marie and their 16-year old daughter Helen (born in Illinois). 103 Brooks was rented for $50 a month by Donald Pollett, a 30-year old book salesman from Nebraska. Donald lived with his 47-year old wife Maryann, a coffee company employee. The building was valued at $10,000. |
