The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Edward Finlay as the owner of the empty lot this house was built on. In 1930 part of this house was rented for $47.50 a month by George Cox, a 26-year old clerk in a grocery store. George lived in 81 Beechcroft with his 28-year old wife Catherine; 25-year old cousin Mary Fletcher, a laundry employee; and 20-year old boarder Margaret Campbell, a laundry employee. |
