This 12-unit apartment building was designed by Meyer Louis and built in 1945. It replaced two 1869 houses built for Anne Snelling and George Barnard.

The 1938 Bromley Atlas shows Thomas Thacher as the owner of two adjacent masonry houses that occupied the lots where this building was constructed.
