This Colonial house was built in 1914 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof. A renovation was performed in 1996.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Mary Whelan as the owner of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by John Whalen, a 43-year old hotel waiter from Ireland. John lived with his 68-year old Irish mother Mary Whalen; 14-year old daughter Mary; 11-year old son William; and 8-year old son John. The building was valued at $5,000.
