This brick Colonial house was built in 1900 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof.

The 1925 City Directory lists Martin Doherty, a carpenter, as a resident of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows M.F. Doherty as the owner of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by Mort Doherty, a 56-year old carpenter from Ireland. Mort lived with his 40-year old Irish wife Mary and their two children: 21-year old John, a chauffeur; and 25-year old Mary. The building was valued at $3,000.
