This three-story brick building was built in 1910 and renovated in 1980. The 1925 City Directory lists Henry Daley, a chauffeur; John Reil, a conductor for the Boston Elevated; and John Sheehan as 277 Western. George DePass, a clerk; John F. Fitzgerald, a compositor; Mary Fitzgerald, the widow of John Fitzgerald; and John G. Sheehan, a clerk, as residents of 279 Western. The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows F. Drysdale as the owner of this house. |
