This three-story multi-family house was built in 1890. A renovation was performed in 2002.

The 1925 City Directory lists Richard Fitzgerald, a chauffeur; Frank Mackellar, an auto repairer; and Jennie Mackellar, the widow of Arthur Mackellar, as residents of 5 Weitz. Abbott Cobb, a laborer, is listed as a resident of 7 Weitz.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows J. and V. Rokas as the owners of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by John Rokas, a 41-year old garment factory worker from Lithuania. He lived here with his 37-year old wife Veronica (also from Lithuania), and their 17-year old daughter Wanda. 19-year old Bernard McDonald, who was born in Canada and worked as a mechanic in a garage, rented a room. Part of this house was rented for $21 a month by Richard Ahern, a 23-year old factory worker. Richard lived with his 20-year old wife Mary, who was born in Canada, and their two daughters: Mary, 1 year old; and Rita, one month old. The house was valued at $9,000.
