This three-story brick multi-family house was built in 1910. A renovation was performed in 1984.

The 1925 City Directory lists Paul Butler, a fireman for the Boston & Albany Railroad; Jeremiah Cartier, a clerk; Joseph Cartier, a freight clerk for the Boston & Albany Railroad; Mary Cartier, the widow of Anthony Cartier; Joseph Kendall, a fireman for the Boston & Albany Railroad; Mary Nixon, the widow of William Nixon; William O'Keefe, a butter, cheese, and eggs dealer; Marion Taylor, the widow of Cecil Taylor; Walter Walker, a machinist; and Nathan Winstanley, a machinist, as residents of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows the Suffolk Real Estate and Mortgage Company as the owner of this building.
