This multi-family house was built in 1920 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof.

The 1925 City Directory lists Joseph Doherty, a letter carrier; Julia Doherty, the widow of Lawrence Doherty; and Catherine Dwyer, matron of the William F. Smith Playground, as residents of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows J. Doherty as the owner of this house.
