This three-story brick multi-family house was built in 1920. A renovation was performed in 2004. The 1925 City Directory lists Edward Fitzwilliam, a bookkeeper, as a resident of this house. The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows E.C. Fitzwilliam as the owner of this house. In 1930 this house was owned by Louis Sabbaq, a 38-year old fruit store owner from Syria. Louis lived with his 27-year old wife Matilda (also from Syria) and their three children: 6-year old Maria, 5-year old son Casa, and 1-year old Lorrain. Part of this house was rented for $45 a month by 50-year old Thomas White and his 45-year old wife Mary. Another part of this house was rented for $40 a month by Nijto Huushoman, a 28-year old house painter from Finland. Nijto lived with his 31-year old wife Selma (also from Finland) and Wilho Numan, a 25-year old boarder who worked as a chauffeur. This building was valued at $11,500. | ||
