The 1925 City Directory lists William Clark, a brakeman for the New York, New Hampshre, & Hartford Railroad; and Frederick Picard, a fireman for the Boston & Albany Railroad, as residents of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows William Hitchcock as the owner of the empty lot where this building was constructed.

In 1930 this house was owned by William Clark, a 63-year old gas station attendant from New Hampshire. William lived with his 60-year old wife Lilla (born in New Hampshire); and 38-year old Albert Koss, a roomer from Connecticut who worked as a bookkeeper for an oil company. Part of this house was rented for $35 a month by Walter Atkins, a 38-year old railroad brakeman. Walter lived with his 28-year old wife Bessie and their 5-year old daughter Ruth. The building was valued at $10,000.
