The 1924 City Directory lists Abraham Zahka, a fruit dealer; Anthony Zahka, Joseph Zahka, a tailor; and Peter Zahka, a fruit dealer; as residents of this house.

The 1925 City Directory lists Abraham Zahka, variety; Anthony Zahka; Joseph Zahka, a tailor; and Peter Zahka, a clerk, as residents of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Joseph Zahka, et al, as the owners of this house.

In 1930 this building was owned by Abraham Zahka, a 31-year old clerk in a fruit store from Damascus, Syria. Abraham lived with his 22-year old wife Evelyn (from Rhode Island), his 76-year old father Anthony, and his two sons Charles (2 years old) and Edward (1 year old). The building was valued at $12,000. Peter Zahka, a 35-year old candy store owner from Syria, also lived in this building with his 24-year old Syrian wife Tehla and his 1-year old daughter Maryan. George Subbaq, a 56-year old auto mechanic from Syria, rented part of this building for $30 a month. George lived with his 45-year old Syrian wife Deebeh and his five children: Louis (17 years), Michael (16 years), John (15 years), Edward (9 years), and Gloria (3 years).
