The 1925 City Directory lists Mary Leighton, the widow of Walter Leighton, as a resident of 56 North Beacon. Inez Strang, the widow of John Strang; and Paul Strang, a partner in the Brighton Square Filling Station, are listed as residents of 58 North Beacon.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Inez Strang as the owner of this house.
