This two-story brick multi-family house was built in 1925. The 1925 City Directory lists James Moore, a machinist's helper; and William Moore as residents of this house. The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows W. and B. Moore as the owners of this house. In 1930 part of this house was rented for $34 a month by Joseph Healey, a 29-year old soapmaker. Joseph lived with his 28-year old Irish wife Margaret and their three children: 2-year old Mary, 1-year old Joseph, and infant Marjorie. Another part of this house was rented for $45 a month by John White, a 40-year old soapmaker from Ireland. John lived with his 36-year old wife Eleanor (born in West Virginia), a baker. |
