This brick multi-family house was built in 1885 and rises three stories to an asphalt roof.

The 1925 City Directory lists Celia Finnegan, gowns; John Finnegan, a plumber; Mary Finnegan, a teacher at the Aaron Davis School in Roxbury; and Theresa Finnegan, a secretary for the R.R. Higgins Company, as residents of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Celia Finnegan as the owner of this house.
