This Colonial house was built in 1900 and rises two stories to an asphalt roof.

The 1925 City Directory lists Albert Wolff, a lawyer; James G. Wolff, a lawyer; and Mercy Wolff, the widow of James H. Wolff, as residents of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows M.A. Wolff as the owner of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by Mercy Wolff, a 72-year old widow born in New Hampshire. She lived with her two sons: 48-year old James, and 45-year old Albert. Both James and Albert were lawyers. Mercy also lived with her unmarried 63-year old sister Sarah Burmingham and her 13-year old grandson Horace MacKearow. The building was valued at $3,800.
