The 1925 City Directory lists Garrett Barry, a clerk; and William Barry, a laborer, as residents of 2 Bayard. John Doyle, a contractor, is listed as a resident of 4 Bayard.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows William Barry as the owner of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by William Barry, a 67-year old retiree from Ireland. William lived in 2 Bayard wirh his 62-year old wife Catherine (also from Ireland) and his four adult children: 30-year old William, who worked as a clerk in a hardware store; 26-year old Margaret, who worked as a telephone operator; 24-year old Julia, who worked as a stenographer for a paper company; and 22-year old Helen who worked as a stenographer in a law office. 4 Bayard was rented for $35 a month by Michael Ford, a 30-year old coal deliveryman. Michael lived with his 35-year old wife Nora and his 3-year old son William.
