This multi-family house was built in 1890 and rises three stories to an asphalt roof.

The 1925 City Directory lists James Stewart, a conductor for the Boston & Albany Railroad, as a resident of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows A.M. Stewart as the owner of this house.

In 1930, this house was owned by Garabed Casabian, a 59-year old Armenian who worked as a laborer in a rubber mill. Garabed lived with his 57-year old wife Sulsan (born in Armenia), his Armenian-born 30-year old son Harry who worked as an operator in a machine shop, his 23-year old daughter Aiskay who worked as a salesgirl in a jewelry store, and his 14-year old son Haig. Soolen Casabian, a 25-year old taxi driver, rented part of this house for $25 a month. Soolen lived with his 19-year old wife Emma. George Charrette, a 40-year old auto mechanic from French Canada, also rented part of this house for $42 a month. George lived with his 40-year old wife Jeanne (also from French Canada), his 10-year old son George Jr., and his 8-year old daughter Jeanne. The house was valued at $9,500.
