This brick multi-family house was built in 1925 and rises two stories to an asphalt shingle roof.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows Clarence Rice as the owner of the empty lot where this house was built.

In 1930 this building was owned by John Dooley, a 66-year old armorer for the US government. John lived in 18 Bagnal with his 61-year old wife Nellie and their three daughters: 25-year old Eleann, a public school teacher; 23-year old Catherine, a secretary for an insurance company; and 21-year old Annie, a teacher in a private school. Part of this house was rented for $45 a month by Alexander Dallas, a foreman for an automobile company who was born in Scotland. Alexander lived in 20 Bagnal with his 40-year old wife Loris and his 1-year old daughter Loris. The building was valued at $10,200.
