This Colonial house was built in 1913 and rises two stories to an asphalt shingle roof.

The 1925 City Directory lists Francis Boylan, a inspector for the City of Boston, as a resident of this house.

The 1925 Bromley Atlas shows M.E. Boylan as the owner of this house.

In 1930 this house was owned by Mary Boylan, a 50-year old widow. Mary lived with her six children: 19-year old Eleanor, an assistant in a medical laboratory; 17-year old Paul; 13-year old Ruth; 10-year old Mary; 7-year old Alice; and 4-year old Elizabeth. The building was valued at $5,000.
